Something’s been on our mind.

Here’s Part III in our introductory series. This is a huge part of our identity: whether we're advising on ethics or compliance or culture issues, our focus is always on performance, not fear. Evidence-based performance.

But much of the messaging in the ethics and compliance space, in particular, is about fear: "If you don't do this, the big bad 'regulator' will come get you!" By focusing on performance, we put our energy behind building stronger, better organizations—and not reading tea leaves about what we think external forces want or expect.

Every organization and culture is unique. So rather than chasing a non-existent standard or trying to keep up with the folks next door, let’s just find our own better ways.
