“2025 will be a year of conflicts, complexities and uncertainties. Diverging values, shifting policies and disruptive technologies will present unprecedented challenges. They also present opportunities: opportunities to learn new skills, to grow into our discomforts, to embrace complexities, and to discover common grounds with those whose values and opinions differ from ours.
This is the year to challenge old ways of doing things — repetitions of policies, procedures and trainings as a cure-all for misconduct; simplistic "just do the right thing" messaging; bureaucratic processes; programs driven by regulatory and enforcement activities.”
